Dr. Michael Hale is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He completed his specialty training at the University of Minnesota after earning degrees in biology and Spanish from the University of Utah in 2003. He received his dental degree from The Ohio State University, graduating cum laude and receiving the AAOMS Dental Implant Student Award. Dr. Hale's clinical interests include general anesthesia, dental implant surgery, advanced bone grafting procedures, wisdom tooth removal, and dentoalveolar surgery. He maintains current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), underscoring his commitment to patient safety.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Hale is a founding member of Global Humanitarian Healthcare, an organization of dental and medical professionals dedicated to serving underserved populations worldwide. As Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he has led and participated in humanitarian missions to Haiti, Samoa, and Kenya. His spouse and children often join him, providing oral surgery services and preventive dental education.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hale enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the mountains with his wife and four children. He has climbed all of Colorado's Fourteeners. A lifelong musician, he grew up playing and teaching multiple genres of guitar and continues to enjoy performing whenever possible. Understanding that oral surgery can cause anxiety for many patients, Dr. Hale is dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate care. He values collaboration with referring dentists and looks forward to working as part of your dental team to deliver the highest level of care.
