Matthew K. Alleman, DMD, FACS
Oral Surgeon
Dr Alleman completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and then went on to earn his dental degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. As a dental student, Dr. Alleman graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Following dental school, he completed his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at prestigious Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
Dr. Alleman is trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His primary clinical interests include orthognathic surgery, outpatient anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, advanced bone grafting, repair of traumatic facial injuries, oral and maxillofacial pathology, and jaw reconstruction. He also maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Alleman is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a rare distinction among oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Dr Alleman also regularly treats complex facial injuries, infections, and emergent head and neck conditions by taking call at multiple hospitals in the greater Denver community.
Outside of surgery, Dr. Alleman enjoys exploring the Colorado outdoors, mountain biking, skiing, hiking 14ers, playing the guitar, cheering on the Nuggets and Broncos, and being actively involved in his church. He and his wife, Rebecca, have four children.
